Activity History
See who did what and when across your platform, plus a separate record of sensitive changes with before-and-after values.
Your platform keeps a clear record of what happens, so you can answer questions like "who changed this?" or "when did I last sign in?". There are two records, both shown as activity history.
Your activity history
This is a running list of actions on an account — for example:
- Signing in
- Viewing a course
- Submitting an assignment
- Running a search
Each entry shows what happened, the time, the device or browser, and a rough location.
| Who | What they can see |
|---|---|
| Learners | Their own activity history, from their account. |
| Admins | Everyone's activity, with filters by person, date, area, action, and status. |
What the learner sees
A learner can open their own activity history to review recent sign-ins and what they've been doing. It's a reassuring way for them to confirm their account is only being used by them.
Change history
This is a separate, admin-only record of sensitive changes — for example, a price change. For each change it shows the before-and-after values and who made the change.
- Admin-only — learners and instructors don't see this.
- Filterable — narrow it down to find exactly the change you need.
- Exportable — download it for your records or a review.
Change history is the place to look when you need accountability: it tells you not just that something changed, but what it was before, what it became, and who did it.
Support login on the record
Whenever an admin uses support login to act as another person, that session is recorded here too — so helping someone is always traceable.
Automatic cleanup
Older records are tidied up automatically after a set period. You can choose how long to keep them, balancing how far back you want to look against keeping things tidy.
