Progress & Grading
Marksheets & Transcripts
Generate a complete grade report for one learner in one course — every assessment, percentages, letter grades, and overall GPA.
A marksheet (also called a transcript or grade report) is a full breakdown of one learner's grades in one course. It is the document you hand over when someone needs proof of how a learner performed.
A marksheet is an admin tool. You generate it for a learner. Learners do not download their own transcript.
What a marksheet shows
For one learner in one course (and, for a cohort program, optionally one cohort), the report includes:
- Every assessment the learner attempted.
- Marks obtained vs. total marks for each assessment.
- The percentage for each assessment.
- The letter grade and grade point for each assessment.
- Grades for each course inside a larger program.
- An overall final grade and GPA.
- A GPA for each term in cohort programs (see Terms & periods).
How the numbers are worked out
The marksheet follows the rules you already set up:
- It uses each assessment's best score.
- It applies your configured weights.
- It maps percentages to grades using your grading scheme.
- For a makeup or alternative assessment, it shows only the version the learner actually took.
Generating a marksheet
- Pick the learner and the course you want a report for.
- For a cohort program, choose the cohort if needed.
- Generate the marksheet.
The report is built fresh from the learner's current grades, so it always reflects their latest results.
Good to know
- Because the marksheet uses best scores and your weights, it matches the final grade the learner sees in the course.
- For proof of completion rather than grades, use a certificate instead.
- Grades come from Assessments & Quizzes; the marksheet simply reports them.
