Marksheets & Transcripts

Generate a complete grade report for one learner in one course — every assessment, percentages, letter grades, and overall GPA.

A marksheet (also called a transcript or grade report) is a full breakdown of one learner's grades in one course. It is the document you hand over when someone needs proof of how a learner performed.

A marksheet is an admin tool. You generate it for a learner. Learners do not download their own transcript.

What a marksheet shows

For one learner in one course (and, for a cohort program, optionally one cohort), the report includes:

  • Every assessment the learner attempted.
  • Marks obtained vs. total marks for each assessment.
  • The percentage for each assessment.
  • The letter grade and grade point for each assessment.
  • Grades for each course inside a larger program.
  • An overall final grade and GPA.
  • A GPA for each term in cohort programs (see Terms & periods).

How the numbers are worked out

The marksheet follows the rules you already set up:

Generating a marksheet

  1. Pick the learner and the course you want a report for.
  2. For a cohort program, choose the cohort if needed.
  3. Generate the marksheet.

The report is built fresh from the learner's current grades, so it always reflects their latest results.

Good to know

  • Because the marksheet uses best scores and your weights, it matches the final grade the learner sees in the course.
  • For proof of completion rather than grades, use a certificate instead.
  • Grades come from Assessments & Quizzes; the marksheet simply reports them.
