Blog
Publish blog posts with featured images, authors, tags, hierarchical categories, and related posts — in more than one language.
A blog is a great way to share news, tips, and stories, and to bring visitors to your site. You can write posts, give each one a featured image and author, organize them with tags and categories, and show related posts to keep readers reading.
What a post can have
| Part | What it does |
|---|---|
| Title and content | The headline and the body of the post. |
| Languages | Write the post in more than one language so each reader sees it in theirs. |
| Featured image | The main picture shown at the top and in listings. |
| Authors | Who wrote the post. |
| Tags | Short keywords for grouping related posts. |
| Categories | Bigger groupings that can nest — a category can sit inside another. |
| Related posts | Other posts to suggest at the end. |
Featured images come from your Files & Media library.
How to write a post
- Go to Admin → Website → Blog and click New Post.
- Add a title and write the content.
- Choose a featured image.
- Set the author(s).
- Add tags and pick a category (you can nest categories for structure).
- Choose any related posts to suggest.
- Add other languages if you run a multi-language site.
- Publish when ready — see Publishing.
Categories and tags
- Categories are your main groupings, and they can nest — for example "Study Tips" could contain "Exam Prep". Use them as the backbone of your blog.
- Tags are lighter, free-form keywords. A post can carry several tags.
