Selling & Payments

Pricing

Set how much an item costs — one-time, free, recurring, or pay-over-time — plus sale prices, schedules, and access windows.

Pricing is how you decide what an item costs and what a buyer gets for it. Every item you sell needs at least one price. You can also give an item more than one price — for example, a one-time price and a pay-over-time plan side by side.

The four price models

Each price uses exactly one of these models:

ModelWhat it means
One-timePay once, get access. The most common choice for a course or book.
FreeNo payment needed — the buyer gets access right away.
SubscriptionA recurring charge that renews each cycle. See Subscriptions.
InstallmentSplit the cost into a down payment plus monthly payments. See Installments.

Extra options on a price

Beyond the model, each price can carry these settings:

OptionWhat it does
Access windowHow long access lasts (for example, 6 months). If you leave this empty, access doesn't expire — it's effectively lifetime.
Sale priceShow a lower price next to the regular one. Buyers see both, with the regular price struck through.
ScheduleSet a start and end date so a price is only active during a chosen period.
Allowed buyersRestrict a price to specific people — a private price meant for one learner.
CurrencyThe currency for this price. Your platform is Bangladesh-first, so Taka (৳) is common, but you choose.

Setting a price

  1. Open the item in Admin → Products (or the course/path/event you want to sell).
  2. Go to its Pricing area and click Add Price.
  3. Choose a model: one-time, free, subscription, or installment.
  4. Enter the amount and pick the currency.
  5. (Optional) Add a sale price to run a discount.
  6. (Optional) Set an access window so access expires after a set time.
  7. (Optional) Set a schedule if the price should only be active for a period.
  8. (Optional) Limit it to allowed buyers for a private price.
  9. Save.

What the buyer sees

  • The price (and the regular price struck through if there's a sale).
  • For a recurring or pay-over-time price, the billing terms — how much and how often.
  • After paying, access begins. If you set an access window, they'll have it for that period; otherwise it doesn't expire.

Good to know

  • An item can have several prices at once — for example, a standard price plus a private price for a sponsored learner.
  • A free price (or a 100% discount from a coupon or scholarship) skips payment and grants access immediately. See Checkout.
  • You can export your prices to a spreadsheet from the billing area.
