Account & People
Support Login
Step into a person's account to help them — in look-only or full-access mode, and always on the record.
Sometimes the fastest way to help someone is to see exactly what they see. Support login lets an admin act as another person to troubleshoot a problem, check what's going wrong, or walk them through a fix.
Two modes
| Mode | What you can do |
|---|---|
| Look-only | See the person's account exactly as they do, without changing anything. Best for diagnosing a problem. |
| Full access | Act on the person's behalf, including making changes — for when you need to fix something for them. |
Choose look-only whenever it's enough. Use full access only when you actually need to make a change.
How to use it
- Go to Admin → Users and open the person you want to help.
- Choose the support login option (look-only or full access).
- Do what you need to do, then exit to return to your own account.
Rules and safeguards
- You can't use support login on yourself.
- Every support login session is recorded in the activity history — including who started it and what happened during it. See Activity history.
Support login is a powerful way to help, so treat it with care. Only use it when there's a genuine support reason, prefer look-only, and exit as soon as you're done.
