Campaigns
Send one message to many people at once — now, scheduled, or repeating — across the channels you choose.
A campaign is how you send the same message to a group of people at once. Pick a message, choose who gets it, choose the channels, and send. Campaigns are great for welcome series, course launches, reminders, and promotions.
Campaigns reach people over channels like email, SMS, push, and chat apps. If you only want a notice inside your platform, use the notice board instead.
What goes into a campaign
| Part | What it is |
|---|---|
| Audience | The group of people who will receive it — see Audiences. |
| Message template | The message design to send — see Message templates. |
| Channels | The ways to deliver it — email, SMS, push, or a chat app. |
| Timing | Send now, schedule for later, or repeat on a regular basis. |
How to send a campaign
- Go to Admin → Communication → Campaigns.
- Click New Campaign.
- Choose the audience.
- Choose the message template.
- Pick the channels to send on.
- Choose the timing — now, scheduled, or recurring.
- Review, then click Send (or Schedule).
Timing options
- One-off — send a single message right away.
- Scheduled — pick a future date and time; the campaign sends itself then.
- Recurring — send on a regular schedule, such as a weekly digest.
The life of a campaign
A campaign moves through clear stages, and you stay in control at each step:
| Action | What happens |
|---|---|
| Draft | Saved while you set it up. Nothing is sent yet. |
| Send | The campaign starts going out to the audience. |
| Pause | Sending stops temporarily. |
| Resume | Paused sending picks up again. |
| Cancel | The campaign is stopped for good. |
| Duplicate | Make a copy to reuse the setup for a new send. |
| Rerun | Run a finished campaign again. |
Duplicate is the fastest way to repeat a successful campaign — copy it, tweak the audience or wording, and send.
See how it performed
Every campaign comes with its own results so you can learn what worked:
- Delivered — how many messages reached people.
- Opened — how many were opened.
- Clicked — how many people clicked a link inside.
- Bounced — how many could not be delivered.
- A channel breakdown, so you can compare email vs SMS vs push.
- A timeline showing activity over time.
For the full picture across all your sending, see Delivery & analytics.
What the learner sees
- The message arrives on the channels they have agreed to receive — and only those.
- It respects their preferences and quiet hours.
- Marketing messages always include a way to unsubscribe.
