Bookings & Appointments

Let instructors and advisors offer bookable meetings, and let students pick a time and book online — with automatic meeting links and calendar invites.

Bookings is your appointment scheduling tool. Instructors, advisors, and mentors publish the kinds of meetings they offer — a tutoring session, an advising call, an office-hours slot — and students pick an open time and book it themselves. It works the same way popular scheduling tools do: you set your availability once, share a link, and let people book the times that suit them.

What you can do

  • Offer bookable meetings. Create a meeting plan for each kind of session you run — a 30-minute consultation, a one-hour class, and so on.
  • Set your availability. Choose the days and times you are open, plus rules like how much notice you need and gaps between meetings.
  • Share a booking page. Each meeting plan has its own web address you can share. The page shows open times in the student's own time zone.
  • Collect payment (optional). Charge for a session before or after it is booked.
  • Meet anywhere. Use Google Meet, Zoom, an in-person address, or a phone call. Online links are created for you automatically.
  • Stay organized. Calendar invites go out on their own, and reminders, reschedules, and cancellations keep everyone in sync.

How a booking works

  1. You create a meeting plan and set your availability.
  2. (Optional) You connect Google Calendar, Google Meet, or Zoom so links and invites are made for you.
  3. A student opens your booking page and sees open times in their own time zone.
  4. The student picks a time and fills in a short form.
  5. The booking lands in one of three states:
    • Confirmed — booked and on the calendar (free meetings).
    • Pending — held while it waits for payment.
    • Requested — waiting for you to approve it.
  6. Once confirmed, the meeting link and calendar invites are created automatically and everyone is notified.
